- Passed away on Sunday, February 25th, 2018 at St. Mary's General Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Gordon for 60 years. Loving Mother of Kevin (Martha), Dawn (Fraser), Jeffrey (Pippa). Cherished Grandma to Sarah (Jake), Matthew (Ammar) and Elizabeth and great Grandma to Rory and Odin. Predeceased by her parents and siblings. Marlene's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 10:00 am - 10:45 am on Thursday, March 1st, 2018 at Benton Street Baptist Church, 90 Benton St. Kitchener, with her Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the fellowship hall immediately after the service. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Gideon's International or Child Evangelism Fellowship would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
