- Miss Rachel Everatt, whose death was chronicled in our last issue, was taken away quite suddenly. Her remains were taken to Haysville and were interred at Pine Hill Cemetery followed to their last resting place by a large number of friends. Deceased was born in England in 1828 and reached the age of 72 years, 9 months and 7 days. She leaves behind a number of sorrowing friends, several of whom came from distant homes to pay the departed the last honors. Rev. Mr. Hamilton held funeral service at the house before leaving for Haysville where services were conducted in Christ Church by Rev. Mr. Ward.
