Nathan Clemmens was born the 25th Febrary 1790 and died on the first of November 1832 aged 42. - [S83] Historical Sketch of the Clemens Family, D.N. Panabaker, (Waterloo Historical Society, 1921), 165.
His eldest son, Nathan, was killed by lightning at his farm in Hespeler in 1832. The unusual thing about this was that it occurred as late in the fall as Nov. 11th.
